SOLD 12/20/07. Protect Your Assets - Springs Mills, Inc. (23.5 cm x 31 cm). PLEASE MAKE AN OFFER. CONDITION: FINE, BUT 1.5 cm x 2 cm TEAR IN TOP RIGHT CORNER (all white space only) and VERY MINOR WRINKLING (won't show if framed). PLEASE NOTE: My scanner wasn't large enough to get the entire picture. A few cm on each side are not captured in the posted photo. HISTORY: The double-entendre advertising campaign for Springs Cotton Mills proved one of the most successful efforts during the late 1940’s and early 1950’s, increasing brand awareness and, subsequently, sales. In fact, surveys showed the ads resulted in far greater brand recall than any other campaign from 1947 to 1951. By the late 1950’s the company had become one of the largest makers of sheets.
